How We Created and Promoted the First Kyrgyz Social Network
ULUT is the first Kyrgyz social network specifically tailored to cater to the Kyrgyz-speaking audience. This mobile application features unique content in the Kyrgyz language. As of today, the closest counterparts to ULUT can be considered the Russian applications VKontakte and Telegram. Just like these platforms, ULUT allows users to publish news, create groups, maintain blogs, and listen to/download songs and music. In the Kyrgyz Republic market, ULUT currently has no direct competitors.
The main goal of the project is educational and social in nature. The objective of ULUT is to unite Kyrgyz-speaking users from all around the world on a single platform. The social network “ULUT” was developed not only for communication but also for the exchange of knowledge, teaching, and preservation of historical and cultural values.

From August 2020 to June 2021, we carried out a significant amount of work to promote and develop the application across various domains. Over the course of one year, we actively participated in numerous public events, engaged with both governmental and non-governmental institutions, and achieved our goals in the fields of education, media, and at the state level.
We prepared video lessons and tests to assist students in their preparation for the ORT (National Testing) exam. These materials were uploaded in collaboration with the “Ilm Elim” platform. The lessons were developed for the following subjects: Kyrgyz language, chemistry, biology, logic, Manas studies, mathematics, and English language. Each subject consisted of 20 video lessons, resulting in a total of 140 video lessons. Approximately 30,000 graduates utilized these video lessons and tests within the ULUT application to prepare for the ORT exam.
Development of the “Youth Opportunities” Section, where users can find answers to the following questions: How can I win a foreign scholarship? Which university can I apply to? What grants and opportunities are available for young people?
Signing a contract with “IDEA” for the implementation of video lessons on media literacy, interactive learning, debates, social entrepreneurship, SMM, and management.
Signing an agreement with the “From Each Person by a Book” project to provide information on current programs in educational activities.

Signing a contract with the project “Aitmatov’s Universe” to provide information about the philosophy of the great writer Chingiz Aitmatov, excerpts from his works, and quotes about the renowned writer.
Signing an agreement with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Educational Resources: Providing materials such as textbooks, experiences, events, and statistics related to the development of the state language, teaching concepts of the Kyrgyz language and literature, legislative acts, teaching methods, standards, and language learning programs.
Universities Category: Establishing a category dedicated to universities, including information about 35 universities and colleges, including agreements with institutions such as Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, Kyrgyz State University named after I. Arabaev, Kyrgyz International University.

Creating a section featuring successful individuals from Kyrgyzstan to establish a positive role model and inspire the youth.
At the end of 2021, as part of the “ULUT” project, an event called “Person of the Year” or “Ulut Namysy” will be held. The aim of the event is to select an individual who has made the greatest contribution to the development of Kyrgyz culture. The selection process will take place from October 1st to December 15th through voting on the application. The award ceremony will be attended by the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
